This position is responsible for the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of liability claims with an emphasis on bodily injury. Candidate must be knowledgeable in interpreting coverage and risk analysis. Responsible for handling assigned claims to conclusion within company guidelines and procedures, for advising management of claims that exceed his/her authority, and for meeting the service standards and statutory requirements of proper claim handling. Qualifications: 5+ years of claims experience with at least 3 years of liability experience. Some product liability and construction defect experience preferred.   Individual should possess effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently as a member of a team and independently.  Berkley Mid-Atlantic Group
